From Kobe to Matsue and back to Okinawa

ADAM L Shooting Daisen (大山)I was looking to take a break from the sun and sand of Okinawa, and what better place to be then somewhere cold and snowy. Combine that with it being new years day and my wife wanting to take a trip to her home town and the decision was simple: Off to Matsue city, Shimane prefecture we went!

The trip we took was from Okinawa to Kobe, from there we drove through to Matsue, the drive is epic and I highly recommend it…passing through tunnels, snow covered valleys all surrounded by snow capped mountain ranges. It is easily one of my favorite things about Japan…something I have been missing in my five years in Okinawa.

Since this is a photoblog, I am going to lay off the words and just layout the pictures.
