Apart from producing my own projects I also offer fixing services to international crews coming to Okinawa and Japan. Being a filmmaker myself I am very aware of what is needed to make a production work and get the shot.
Recently I worked with a Discovery channel crew from the UK on their series, Mysteries of the abandoned. We were able to gain access to many site from the world war 2 era that are usually off limits to camera crews.
Apart from the logistics side of my role as fixer, I was also working as an on site translator for interviews and interactions with locals. This side of the job is easily my favorite as it allows me to learn new things and also make great new contacts within the local community.
