Touch Japanese is a simple yet powerful tool for people starting to learn this wonderful language.
After living in Japan for over a decade, I thought about what the best advice I could offer to someone wanting to learn Japanese; the answer was simple: learn the sounds then learn the words.
If you can master the pronunciation of the alphabet, you will be able to say any word within the language, free of accent, which will be the difference between learning Japanese and mastering Japanese. “Touch Japanese” is going to get you there quick.
Another great aspect to “Touch Japanese” is: you are going to learn the Hiragana and Katakana alphabets at the same time, while having fun…enjoy
A few ideas on how best to use “Touch Japanese”:
- Try to sound out your name
- Use the screen like a soundboard and try to say Japanese words you already know.
- Try and say words in your own language using Japanese, this will really lock the characters and sounds into you memory!
